Greetings all. Just a short post here to get things under way.
I am a Christian. I have no tolerance for apostasies to the Christian Faith. I will work on this blog to expose some of the apostasies that I see around me as I live my life.
X- By "apostacies", do you mean people who have left the faith and/or speak out/act out against it? I'm just trying to get a handle on who you mean. I, too, am a Christian, and have been going through a lot the last several years. Yet, I and my kids always seem to have a little more than we need. Lucky and blessed.
My specific reference goes back to Matthew Chapt 7 with the two roads. The wide road is a road that is THOUGHT to lead to Heaven, but in reality, it leads to Hell. There have been many things which either directly contradict the scriptures or are half-truths. Religous cults are 'half truths' which twist scripture to their own means. MLM businesses do this to make an affinity market, psychologists do this to explain away revelation. Basically, my goal here is to write about issues against the truth of scripture that arise on any area I notice them and then contrast them to the truth of scripture.
Keep up the faith, "By your endurance you will gain your lives" Luke 21:19 X
I pursued the meaning of life through many measures; most notably academics where I have learned a great deal about the sciences, psychology, literature, myth, magick, and more recently history. I came to the truth that we desperately need saved and ruled. I have found that Jesus Christ in His entire splendor is the only one who can fill the bill. Since that time, I have repented of my sins and learned just what joy is. This page is seeking to expose false teachings about the faith.
I was raised in a dysfunctional home with no spiritual input at all. I have played around with magick, have stolen (and got caught a few times). I have never done any drugs, but saw plenty of them. I sought salvation through knowledge believing that if I could learn enough, I would break free. I was dead wrong. I came to understand my need for Jesus Christ and placed my faith in Him as Lord and Savior. I repented of my sins and sought to live a life for Him. I am active in childrens ministries in Sunday school, boys clubs, camps, etc. My desire to teach children that the only way to joy in life is through a relationship in the Lord Jesus Christ.
